With over 25 years of leadership in the nonprofit, philanthropic, and public sectors, Joanna is a passionate advocate for racial and social justice. A Spelman College graduate and National Urban Fellow, she has driven transformative change at organizations including the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, The California Endowment, and the City of San Jose.
